Getting to Railay Bay

Traveling to Railay Bay requires taking a traditional long-tail boat, as the area is surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and cannot be accessed directly by road. The boat fare is approximately 100 THB per person per trip.

Visitors can take a long-tail boat from Ao Nang Beach, with a travel time of around 15 minutes, or from Ao Nam Mao Pier, which also takes approximately 15 minutes.

For travelers coming from Bangkok, bus tickets to Krabi can be conveniently booked online through the BusAndVan website. Services are available from both Mo Chit Bus Terminal and the Southern Bus Terminal, heading directly to Krabi Bus Terminal. From there, travelers can continue by local bus or songthaew with signs reading “Ao Nang” or “Ao Nam Mao” to reach the pier before taking a long-tail boat into the stunning Railay Bay.
