Andaman Wave Master, or Andaman Wave Master Co., Ltd., runs passenger boats along the Andaman coast. It is not a bus operator — what you book on this page is a seat on a boat.

Main routes are Krabi – Koh Phi Phi and Koh Phi Phi – Phuket, served by scheduled ferries and by speedboats, which are faster but far bumpier in a swell.

Ferry seating comes in 3 levels:

1. Standard – lower deck seating, the cheapest fare on the route
2. First class – sofa-style seats with more room than standard
3. Premium – access to the open sun deck for the views on the way

Every route takes advance bookings, but sailings depend on sea conditions. During the Andaman monsoon, roughly May to October, delays and cancellations are more common than at other times of year.

Booking online reserves the seat only. Take your booking reference to the company counter at the pier and exchange it for the actual ticket before boarding.

Check the sailing status before you leave your hotel, and allow 45–60 minutes to check in at the pier.
