User Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your BusAndVan account and request the deletion of your personal data — including accounts created by signing in with Facebook or Google.

Your right to request erasure of your personal data is protected under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”). This page applies to the BusAndVan account you created on www.busandvan.com and in the BusAndVan mobile application.

How to request deletion

Send us an email and we will delete your account and personal data for you. There is no charge for this.

  1. Send an email to phuketcode.company@gmail.com
  2. Use the subject line: Request to delete my BusAndVan account
  3. Include the following so we can verify that the request comes from the account owner:
    • The phone number registered with your BusAndVan account
    • The email address registered with your account (if any)
    • The sign-in method you used — phone number, Facebook, or Google
    • A photo or scan of an identification document
  4. We will confirm receipt, verify your identity, and complete the deletion.

If you prefer, you may also reach us through the channels listed on our Contact page, and we will guide you through the same process.

If you wish to appoint someone to submit the request on your behalf, a written power of attorney together with identification documents of both parties is required.

If you signed in with Facebook

There are two separate actions. We recommend doing both.

1. Remove BusAndVan from your Facebook account

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings
  2. Select Apps and Websites
  3. Find BusAndVan in the list and select Remove

This stops Facebook from sharing any further information with BusAndVan. It does not delete the data we already hold.

2. Ask us to delete the data we already hold

Send the email described above. This is the step that actually erases your data from our system.

If you signed in with Google

You may remove BusAndVan's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, then send us the email above to delete the data we hold.

What is deleted

Data Result
Account information — name, email address, phone number, profile picture Permanently deleted
The link between your account and Facebook or Google Permanently deleted
Login sessions and access tokens Permanently deleted
Booking and travel history Retained only where required by law, then deleted
Payment records and proof of payment Retained for up to 5 years as required by accounting law
System access logs Retained for at least 90 days as required by law, then deleted

Please note: some records cannot be deleted immediately because Thai law requires us to retain them for a defined period — for example, payment records must be kept for up to 5 years under accounting law, and computer traffic logs for at least 90 days. Once those periods expire, the data is deleted. Everything that is not subject to a statutory retention period is deleted straight away and cannot be recovered.

How long it takes

We will complete your request within 30 days from the date we receive a complete request together with sufficient identification documents.

Your other rights

In addition to erasure, you also have the right to access your data, correct it, restrict its use, object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent. See our Privacy Policy for details.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
