When thinking of Northern Thailand, Chiang Rai is undoubtedly a top destination. Surrounded by stunning nature, the province is home to famous landmarks like Wat Rong Khun (The White Temple). This architectural masterpiece, born from deep Buddhist faith, has become an iconic symbol of Chiang Rai.
The temple offers a serene atmosphere, and I highly recommend visiting in the early morning or late afternoon for the most beautiful lighting. Entry is free for Thais, while a fee applies for international visitors. Nearby, you can also explore the museum of Ajarn Chalermchai Kositpipat, the National Artist who created this magnificent work of art.

Wat Rong Khun is a must-visit for content creators and photography enthusiasts! While you can take plenty of photos of the exterior, please note that photography is strictly prohibited inside the main chapel.
If you want to level up your shots, there are outfit rental shops nearby with stunning traditional dresses. Most importantly, please dress politely and cover up properly, as the staff may deny entry if your attire is considered too revealing.
